Our capacity support services help higher education professionals by taking things off their to-do lists. Our specific services include:

We combine research, data, and student voice to elevate key issues and identify concrete actions to address them.

planning
We support formal strategic planning, as well as targeted planning for specific organizational priorities. We also facilitate group planning sessions and strategy retreats.
Capacity-building technical assistance
This is our model for implementing student success strategies, blending workshops, coaching, and 24/7 access to Constellation, our first-of-its-kind virtual change management platform.
Communications and advocacy support
We develop messaging, collateral, and dissemination plans to support systemic change - from the advocacy efforts that change policies to the communications necessary to roll them out.
Student-Ready Leader Training
Training participants gain knowledge, develop new skills, and use innovative tools to dismantle and redesign systems. The workshops are delivered on a campus, within a state, and/or in a national cohort.

Become an expert in creating student-centered policy and process
Institutional policy governs the experiences of students and higher education professionals alike, but is often overlooked as a lever of meaningful change. This workshop provides a framework for policy review and helps participants develop a skillset to craft, vet, and implement student-centered policy changes.

One of the biggest challenges in higher education is slow or stalled implementation of systemic changes. We know the culprit - higher ed professionals have constrained capacity and initiative fatigue. This workshop provides a nuanced look at capacity, helping attendees deeply understand when and why they get stuck, and develop strategies for moving their goals forward, faster.

In order to redesign systems, we first need to understand which of them are in need of fixing, and why. We work independently and in partnership with other organizations to bring new knowledge and innovative practices to the field through publications, keynotes, and conference sessions.
